The problem has always been the fire.\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"article-grid\">\r\n\r\n      <div class=\"article-block\">\r\n        <h3 id=\"the-alarm-we-ignore\">The Alarm We Ignore<\/h3>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          Like a smoke detector, warnings about racism and injustice are meant to signal danger.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          But instead of investigating the cause, those warnings are often dismissed as complaints\r\n          or overreactions.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          The response is not to solve the problem \u2014 it is to silence the sound.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n      <div class=\"article-block\">\r\n        <h3 id=\"the-pattern-of-dismissal\">The Pattern of Dismissal<\/h3>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          Black voices that call out inequality are frequently labeled as disruptive or excessive.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          These reactions shift attention away from the issue itself and toward the discomfort\r\n          of hearing about it.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          In doing so, the warning is treated as the problem rather than the conditions that caused it.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"section-divider\">Stereotypes and Silence<\/div>\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"article-grid\">\r\n\r\n      <div class=\"article-block\">\r\n        <h3 id=\"manufactured-narratives\">Manufactured Narratives<\/h3>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          Stereotypes have long been used to shape how Black expression is interpreted.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          Labels such as \u201cangry\u201d or \u201cthreatening\u201d create a framework that justifies dismissal\r\n          and control.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          These narratives reinforce a cycle where voices are minimized before they are even heard.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n      <div class=\"article-block\">\r\n        <h3 id=\"the-real-consequences\">The Real Consequences<\/h3>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          Ignoring warnings does not remove danger \u2014 it allows it to grow.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          When the alarm is silenced, the underlying issue continues unchecked,\r\n          often leading to deeper harm.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n          The cost of ignoring truth is measured in real outcomes, not abstract ideas.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"article-highlight\">\r\n
