It becomes a contest over image, power, and who gets pressured to fold first.\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"article-block full-width\">\r\n\r\n      <p>\r\n        Ryan Clark, an ESPN analyst and former NFL player, recently issued a public apology to Robert Griffin III after making controversial remarks involving RGIII\u2019s wife during a debate connected to WNBA stars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.\r\n      <\/p>\r\n\r\n      <p>\r\n        What could have remained a disagreement over sports commentary quickly escalated into something more personal, more public, and more revealing about how modern media conflict works.\r\n      <\/p>\r\n\r\n      <p>\r\n        By the time the apology arrived, the story was no longer just about basketball or commentary.
